Family Day at the Seaport Museum

Family Day at the Seaport Museum

September 26 | 11am–5pm | Campus Wide | Free General Admission

Explore, play, make, and discover at the Seaport Museum! Family Day is the perfect opportunity to bring the whole family to the Museum for a full lineup of hands-on activities, games, and adventures throughout the historic Seaport—all with free General Admission. Family Day also includes free admission to see the celebrated exhibition The Promise of Liberty: Words That Shaped a Nation before it closes on September 27!

Pick up your Family Day bingo card and set off to explore the Museum’s historic ships and exhibitions, stopping at activity stations along the way to collect your stamps. Try your hand at historic printing, create cyanotypes, test your senses with a food-themed activity inspired by Taste of the Seaport, solve rebuses aboard the 1885 tall ship Wavertree, play Lenape games, and follow a scavenger hunt through the Maritime City exhibition. Complete your bingo card to earn a special prize!

With something to discover around every corner, Family Day is a chance to experience the Seaport’s history through play, creativity, and a little friendly competition, if you’d like. Come explore the waterfront, get curious, and make a day of it!

Want to keep the fun going? Get your separate tickets to the Family Zone at Taste of the Seaport, where the Museum will have even more activities for young explorers.
